The Global Open Science Cloud (GOSC) initiative will encourage cooperation, alignment, and ultimately interoperability between existing and emerging Open Science Clouds (OSCs). Based on prior experiences and shared interests of the collaborative partners, four thematic Working Groups (WGs) and a set of Case Studies (CSs) are selected to demonstrate how OSCs connect international scientific communities and support collaborative research projects. These WGs and CSs are tailored to explore several possible areas for the alignment and interoperability of OSCs.
